Our last day in
Kalgoorlie and we heard there was a Caravan and Camping show on at the Racing
Track, entry was a gold coin donation to the RFDS, so we thought we’d go take a
look. It wasn’t a huge show, but it filled in an hour or so.
Later
we met up with Di, Dave and Wendy for lunch at Monty’s, a very pleasant,
informal eatery and bar in the main street. After lunch we drove down Hay Street, which is infamous for its Brothels, even boasting a Brothel Museum. We could only find two examples of this type of establishment, but apparently it was quite a busy area in its’ day.
Hi Gary and Sharron, Looks like you are all having a great time in spite of the weather. We are coping some of the after affects here but it appears this is no where near as bad. Robyn likes the picture of the bird on Laura's arm and she was intrigued by its colour so she looked up here trusty bird book and advised that it is a Australian ringnecked, local known as a 28, we have the Port Lincoln species here.
